What Does A MY00 Weigh ???
#4
According to my EEC Certificate of Conformity.....
Mass of the vehicle with bodywork in running order : 1330kg (1385kg max mass ?)
Mass of the vehicle (excluding driver, coolant, oil, fuel) : 1190kg (1245kg max mass ?)
Technically permissible maximum laden mass : 1750kg
Not sure what the Max mass is about. Perhaps someone could explain it for me. An extra 50kg of ballast perhaps ?
Mine is a UK spec car (MPH and a Bright Switch ) so I'd be interested to know if it is actually heavier than the UK car.

I put my MY00 with airco on a weigh bridge and I got 1370kg with a quarter tank of Juice and myself in the car. I weigh 87kg.
So 1370-87=1283-10=1273.
I'm subtracting 10kg for the quarter tank of fuel cos I read that a full tank of Juice weighs 40kg. Not sure the fuel weight is correct, but if it is, a MY00 with airco should way around 1270kg on an empty tank.
