dead battery

Default dead battery

the battery on my car has been toattly dead for over 2 weeks before i got around to changing, some people have been putting ideas into my head that this would reset the ecu to standard, this wouldnt wipe out the ecutek software silly question but no harm in asking

No it won't wipe the ECU map.

stevebt - As John says it won't return to the standard map. I asked him the same question last week, amongst others and mines been running as it was before i had the same trouble as you.

i only asked as car is booked to go into dealers on friday 13th as the idle is out of control and could of been related. its going to be expensive i bet,
