Oil Pressure help!
Not sure if I have a problem with my car
Basically the oil pressure seems quite high when cold at tick over, when the engines upto temp it normally sits around 2 instead of the indicated 6 (kg/cm2) you see below.. which goes upto 8 with the help of my foot when cold
I know low oil pressure is bad, suppose high pressure is too??, the car runs ok no smoke or anything, a had an Astra GTE 16V & i know it had an oil breather on the cam cover that would block, meant to be common problem, so do scoobys have a similar prob??
Worried something is wrong witth oil pump or something more £££££!!!
here are the piccys, can anyone compare with a cold scooby, drove about 1/2 mile then took pics.
Thanks for any help anyone can offer
BTW car is a 96 STi2 555

Will,
Seem to have noticed it over the past week or so.... suppose it's been nippy too.
I'll warm the beast up a touch more, just wanted to check
Thanks again
Tim
