Default My00 windscreen wiper

My nearside wiper has stopped working, well, not quite, it looks as if its come off the spline because it moves very slightly.

This happened when we had loads of snow and i turned my engine on i forgot my wipers were still on, so they attempted to shift a tonne of snow! lol

How do i get at the splines, i couldnt see from the quick look i had the other day?

there should be a rubber grommet on the arm at the bottom, take that off and there should be a nut either 12 or 13mm cant remember make sure that is tight. if you remove the nut the whole arm should pop off the spindle just give it a good wiggle and hope it hasn't chewed all the splines out the arm to much
