Strange whisteling noise Please Help

Can anyone explain it,
Coming home from work tonight a strange new noise developed
as i was accelerating on the motorway a distinctive whistle developed as she came onto max boost and when i lifted the throttle and hit it again it felt like i hit a brick wall.
After a few more on and offs of the throttle the brick wall effect didnt happen again but the loud whislt is still very apparent

Could this be serious ??
