how much extra fuel should an walboro fuel pump use over a standard one? the reason i ask, is because(even tho i know it WILL use more than standard) it seam's to be using a whole lot more fuel! i haven't let her rip at all, as some of you may know, she ain't running right, so that ain't the reason. i'm thinking maybe the seal around the pump isn't sitting the way it should be? would hilamar be a suitable stuff to help seal it or am i just confused again???

On closed loop cruise it should not use any more fuel. On open loop it might if the standard regulator is being overpowered by the pump (possible/likely) or the original fuel pump was dropping pressure.

ment to say...incase you were interested. went down to autosprt last weekend and got the first green light flash the odd time on the knocklink. was just cruising and i have just a straight pipe from ic/turbo inlet to actuator. having now fitted the pump, it seem's to have helped a little. haven't seen the light as much...hardly any infact, but when you put the foot to the floor(for just a wee spurt of power) i get the green lights come on.
