Hi all, today scoob went poorly.
MY 97 import
drivin along got a CEL. Car ran reallllly lumpy, misfire, no power.

Checked CEL code,....... 23

Looks like the MAF is completely buggered.

OR do i have an underlying problem.
All thoughts appreciated.

MAF sensor is the likeliest culprit. Replace, reset ECU and see what you get.

got exactly the same at the moment.....

luckily I've got a mate who's gonna let me swap his MAF sensor for mine tonight.......just to check that it is the sensor and not an intermitent break in the loom.....

do you know anyone who'd let you do the same.....??

hope it's the latter as a new sensor is £220 for my '95 UK turbo.
