hey guys...bit peeved...stereo out of car due to havin centre console out for a few mods etc...

nipped up motorway....have a rattle come whistle..hard to describe...(kinda like when bearings buggerd in your heater motor..) when throttle/load applied....at about 70-80mph worst...
can hear very very slightly on acceleration now my ears are tuned to it...

any ideas folks?
not something i can put my finger on..

doin the belt, pump, rollers, and tensioner this weekend as pump is alittle noisy..and doin the rest will elliminate..and plus belt is due...

car only done 30k tho..and i'm bit peeved...
p.s heaqt shileds seem to be ok, no noise at idle other than pump noise...bit stumped....hopin not gearbox...

p.s is a faint clunk when u let off of throttle i.e engine movement/diff etc..normal..

any help gratefully received.

p.p.s it aitn the wife/girlfriend, dog cat or anything else..lol

bttt...any ideas guys..hearing nasty things bout diff bearings and such...

did all the cambelt stuff....thats all sorted but this noise is getin worse....
