Wink

I bought a LambdaLink Digital a while ago but haven't got round to fitting it yet. Getting the car Tek 3'd at the weekend so thought it might be a good idea to actually fit the thing. Now, I'm sure I asked this when I bought it but I can't remember - is this okay to use with the standard sensor on the car?
Is it actually going to give me useful info or does it need a better sensor? (wideband? - or am I **** about face?)

Yup, LambdaLink should simply connect to the same lambda probe outlet that the ECU does. It should have been calibrated to work with the standard probe, dependant on where you bought it...
Widebands are a whole different ballgame altogether

Nom its not a LambdaLink, yes its designed to use the std sensor, with a UEGO adaptor box it will also use a wideband. Connect as per the instructions, btw it not essential for me as I won't be using the std sensor in any case (Motec PLM) so you can fit at leisure after the event if preferred.

Aha. Ta Bob.
I'm getting the Link nomenclature confused.
I thought they'd now called the old LambdaLink the Digital LambdaLink... obviously I've got them the wrong way round

Seeming your there...hopefully...can the Digital LambdaLink (the 52mm gauge one, yes?) be adjusted/calibrated to accept, say, a linear response between 0v=10:1, 5v=19:1, or will it run only with the UEGO adaptor box? Or possibly the question is what will the UEGO adaptor box do? Link aren't exactly forthcoming with information, and I don't like to ring Branko and pester him with these things!

I'll mail you with that info, I need to go out to the workshop and I'm in email mode at the moment, its should but I'll check tomorrow and let you know. Given it needs the box iirc its there to linearise the signal.

cheers
