P0340 camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction

is this dangerous/common in bugeyes?

clears itself after a couple of days

then comes up again when i wear my lead shoes

Its a common fault in 01's, i bet you was doing a drag style start when it came on for some reason it just detects an error for a split second, throws the cel up, then when it realises its a fine, it goes off
