Can anyone tell me if the lamda sensor has to be fitted in the header on my 93 WRX as per factory or can it be fitted in my H&S de cat down pipe ?
I can't see any reason why not it's just easier to get to the down pipe !!!

Glad someone brought this subject up. Not that I have a problem with mine but I now know that, seeing as I can't budge my existing lambda, I could just unplug it, leave in place, and put a new one in the boss in the downpipe.
