Looking for the 2 black connectors to read the fault code after my cel came on! I have a 94 WRX Saloon im looking under the dash drivers side what do they look like? are they both the same size are they plugged into anything? are they near the fuse box or higher up under the steering columbe ?? help I cant find them, thanks for any help on this.

Up under the steering column. They're just black plastic connectors and are usually near a larger green connector.

It was a code 21 coolant temp sensor mmmm was it because the engine temp hadnt got to normal? and by me pushing it hard caused it to heat up to fast? it wasnt cold when i pushed it but temp gauge was on about a quarter it normally sits half way. ??

Could be the sensor is failing. Fit a new one.

sounds good advise Mark, anyone know where its located on the engine or should I let someone else do it :-)
