My Cobra immob unit has being playing up,, to the point where it gives a total electrical failure, and the relay inside the box goes loopy... so methinks it needs a changing... now am i restricted to going to my local dealer 80 miles away,!!!!(well done subaru) or cal i ring any alarm supplier installer and pick up a replacement from them ?? or will some one like grade a have a unit & keys??

Being as Subaru dont now fit cobra alarms as standard anymore, i think you will end up at an alarm specialist anyway on this one. the alarm system is not part of any warranty cover other than its own, so you can get it changed without any problems.
But going on a bit, yes, the immobiliser units do play up on cobra's, not an uncommon thing, but check the wiring in the multiplug going to it first, it may be simply a loose wire.
