Hi,

I've got the Magnex, but having heard both, but IMHO I'd opt for the scoobysport if out and out sound is what you are after. Magnex not quite as raspy at top end. If you do a lot of motorway, Magnex may be better. It's a matter of personal choice but you MUST get a downpipe. I got mine last week, (already got magnex mid too). The noise is the kind of noise that makes you walk funny.

Having said that, it's still not loud enough for me. I'm waiting on a HKS Hiper muffler to replace the Magnex kit. 5" tailpipe. oh yes!

I have a Mongoose B/box - sounds great (not too loud or droning on the motorway)
Looks great - single tailpipe and is well made.

More than happy with mine

Thumbs up

Had a Magnex on mine for the last month or so. Very nice rumble low down, well happy with it and certainly turns a few heads. Plus the price is fantastic and its got a lifetime warranty!!

Agree about not being so loud at top end but make for slightly more comfortable motorways (if you _really_ have to use them !!!!!)

Scoobysport is the one to have.
But Value for money has to go to Magnex, only £177 in Halfords and you get a choice of tailpipe.

I had a Magnex on my last 93'WRX and will soon be putting another on my current Scoob.

Excellent Quality and fit too.

Thanks guys, think i may give the HKS Hiper muffler a miss though, whats five inches look like. If the finances stretch it will probably be the Scoobysport.
The Magnex is great value for money and I'll check the mongoose out as well. I'm only looking to change the backbox instead of the whole exhaust.

Still think the ss looks the best. Rolled in pipes and not in your face size.

Noise is most pleasant etc.
My=ay be more money, but this is reflected if you come to sell it.

Scorpion BB with a de-cat centre section is the way forward.

Heard good things about the Scoobymania system, and it's quite cheap too

I'll second that!

They just fitted me a downpipe, brake support bracket and platinum plugs.

Very nice job, well impressed. Very reasonable prices too and they are well into their scoobs so you know your baby will be looked after.

The noise from the downpipe is awesome!
well recommended.
