Question

I was thinking about putting a colour coded (silver) sun visor sticker on the top of my windscreen (might even add the SUBARU lettering as in the WRC car).

I have found that Scoobyparts do one but that requires trimming!

Does anyone know anywhere else where I can get one and is it a bit too Max Powerish ?????

Cheers
Peter

I think they all require a bit of trimming.
If you are going to match it to the colour of the car, get a perfect match, or a different colour altogether, an off match is stand out like a sore thumb.

Its a bit boy racerish but its you car and your choice.

Personally don't like them, but I would suggest black if you go down that route. Black blends in with the windscreen and matches up with the rubber seal around the edge.

If you want to go with the letters, I'd have white.... but Barge is right; your car -> your call.

Andy

Your car is silver isn't it? If so, what colour visor are you going for? How much will it cost?

Cheers
Peter

Peter,

Funny you should mention that!!! My car is silver.

I'm going for a black one, but I will be getting my windows tinted for a full pimp-mobile look!!!

RichR has one on his silver car. I think it's black with Subaru across the middle, and the logos either side. Looks very good!

Thumbs up

Pete did a black one for me a couple of weeks ago (sorry not been to the Quays meet since then) but its fantastic quality, white SUBARU letters on black for £32 including postage.
I thought it would look different so dont you all go buying one.....
I'll have a photo on here soon

Dan

Did you get one for the back as well?
Also, was it easy to fit - did it need any trimming?

Not wanting to copy, but I am coming around to the idea of a black visor with silver lettering. Looking forward to seeing a picture.

Cheers

Peter,
I just bought one for the front screen, it actually comes in two parts, the black sticky strip (curved to fit) and the SUBARU letters on a roll. What you have to do is stick the strip on 1st and trim one end as its about an inch over (which is handy).
Then you stick the SUBARU letters on right in the middle of the black strip, I guess its easier this way to make sure its dead centre.
Its been wiper proof so far, and looks the mutts nuts...
