Need help desperately. Got hold of a commander but it dosen't appear to work, it just displays "APEXi" on the screen. If I turn the ignition on and hold down the top arrow key the unit displays "NT"
The commander was used originally on a STi 5 type R, and according to Apexi it should work on all cars from Sept 96 to Sept 2000. My Power FC code number is GC8DL 020-0005 and is installed on STi4 loom.

FCC NT-9907-0221 Used on an STi5 type R
&
FC Commander 2-Ver8.13 Used on an MY95 WRX

Anyone know what model of Power FC these will fit?

AFAIK there are only two commanders that fit the classic shape Impreza and would guess that the first Commander in a 415-X001 and the second is a 415-N001. According to Apexi, the 415-X001 should work my ECU but it doesn't

BTW, My Power FC is a 3 plug one.

Also the universal commander will not work on the 97-98 Power FC so has anyone any ideas?

I have the Power FC on a MY 98 uk car which i think is the same as an STI 4 and the comander is a 415-X001.

Works no problem.

i have a 3 plug EJ20K Power FC too, but my commander is the N001.

on the back of the controller is:

FCC2 NT 020-00380

displayed as: FC Commander version 8.13

the Power FC is:

EJ20K Version 4.03A

here are 3 types of Power FC for the classic.

415-F001
415-F003
415-F005 It is the Commander for the F005 that I need for my ECU (post 9/96 and pre 9/98)

Even though the "interface" for the commander is an X001 you need the correct commander in my case a commander for the F005 Power FC

If you had pre Sept 96 car then you need a commander for the F001
