I have a 1998 Forester T/tb which I believe has the same engine as the version 3/4 Impreza ?
I want to replace the turbo hoses with silicone ones. How easy a job is this to do as a diy ? Any likely problems or is it straightforward ?

Thanks
Brian

30 minute job Brian. Getting the oem cr*p one off the turbo outlet is the only tricky bit.

Only place I could find a 99/00 set last week. You may want a different kit though for yours.

Hi Brian,
Got mine from Rally Design raldes.co.uk
The kit has to be the three piece item (ref TES86).

Brian,
My reciept from Rally design shows TCS86 @ £44-70 ex VAT.
The kit should look like:

Thumbs up

Was really easy on mine Brian, but a good tip is to soak them in hot water for about 20 mins, as this makes them more pliable and easier to push onto the inlet and outlet pipes of the I/C, turbo and throttle body.
Just slacken off all the clamps and remove the bolts holding the I/C to its mounting bracket and remove the I/C and then the Y piece under it.

Cube.
