Question

Hi i have a Sport for now... but one question - is it limited at top end speed? Ok some people will maybe think it's speeding or whatever .. but i can't get over 115mph..(the rev counter just sits at 5000rpm and won't budge over it) Is there anyway to fix this? and if so how do i go about it? Thanx.. A friend has a 96 Sport hatch and he's had his up to around 128 ,so any help on this would be mucho appreciated

What mileage has your car done and what year is it. Both will affect your top speed.
As it gets more miles on, it will get quicker. If you fit an ITG filter (Scoobysport sell them)you will find it breathes easier at the top end so acceleration and top speed get better.

You should check if the same thing happens in say 3rd gear. ie does it get to a certain revs & just stick there. If it is a revs problem then you could be getting a restriction somewhere & Peter's idea of a Scoobysport ITG filter should help. You could also talk to Scoobysport exhaust backbox, as that could also help.
