Boost level of Scoobysport Tek-2
#1
I finished installing my Defis last night. Does anyone know the max boost used by a SobbySport "Tek-2" remap? I want to see if the car is using the boost it's supposed to be using. I've seen 1.0 bar, I think.

I don't know the exact answer to be honest, but I would bet more than 1 bar ---> I regularly achieve between 1 and 1.1 bar on my MY02 with just a full decat/panel filter (no remap as yet).
Or at least that's what the 'peak' settings on my defis tells me

My Tek 2 from Pete has given me 1.18 bar (16.5psi), tonight
on a short midnight shopping run; according to the SECS monitor.
I wasn't pushing hard, so I'd expect slightly more, if I really
tried.
Car is an old shape '99.

Hi Fatman,
"The Normal oil temp" that you will read will depend on where you've put the sensor...if it's in the positon of the blanking plug on the block then you've got it in the same place as me...usual temp is around 94-96 I'd say when warmed up...but the peak I've registered is 108...not on track, but after fast driving as the engine had a bit of heat soak duing the cool down part of the drive....motorway driving regularly sees temps of 98-104....I think if you had the sender in the sump temps would be more like 85-95 steady state...and probably with less fluctuation due to more volume being present around the sensor giving more stable conditions...

I installed the sensor in the cylinder-3 oil gallery plug position (below the throttle assembly). I've not done any motorway driving since installing the gauges. Perhaps that's why I've not seen temps quite as high .
