I'm looking at getting a de catted down pipe for a 2001 WRX bugeye.. but what is the difference between "closed neck" & "open neck" cos I'm not sure what to get..


Asking here first because i think suppliers will be closed till tuesday.. s'pose they must think they're a bank ,taking monday off... lazy gits

Closed gives a 3" exit hole; open gives a 6" exit hole; the latter improving spool up of turbo & bhp gains considerably.
