First of all Hi to everyone, newbie here. I have a my99 turbo. Had car about two months then new MAF sensor fitted to cure bad idling. Now when i get up to 3000rpm the revs race up to 4000rpm then drop quickly down to 3000rpm then back up even though i have my foot on the accelerator all the time. Is this due to a problem with the new MAF sensor or is it just co incidental and another problem. All ideas welcome, thanks.

Someone had this the other day, and it turned out they needed a new clutch

is your clutch slipping at all?

cheers for the reply, clutch seems fine apart from the usual clutch judder when cold. Ill take the car down to my local dealer. Not that impressed with them as It was me that told them i thought my MAF sensor was faulty having read the posts on here. Im finding this forum a great resource. Love the car, big grin everytime i drive it.
