Hi All,
I have just found out that no matter how hard I hit the knocksensor, only the first led can lit up.....
I have had the knocksensor of the block to clean the plug, but nothing seem to help...
Can the Knocksensor itself be broken or is it perhaps the electronic thatīs broken????
All info would be great,
Skassa

the first light, lights when you have power..
check continuity along the signal wires.. and also check impediance of the sensor.

Okay the first one lights okay for power supply(weak green),and i will also light up stronger, but no more than the first one...
What shall the impedance be on the knocksensor??
Thanks,

Hmm, mine was only lighting the first LED on its dim setting, so I knew power was there
What I did was at the sensor end, remove the sensor from the block, take off the little metal clip, and unplug the sensor from the wiring
thats when I saw the green corrsoion on the contacts, so i gave em a good clean with a bit of emery paper, wrapped around a very small (watchmakers) flat blade screwdriver, as its a little tight in there
as soon as I connected it back up, a small tap lit it up like an xmas tree

Skassa,
You mention you hit the knock sensor to test it. If you hit the sensor directly, you cause damage to the sensor. You have to hit the area around the sensor on the block or, (not sure on this), the bolt, not the sensor. You may have damaged it when you hit it to test.
Cheers,
George.

Seriously, how do you tap it? A light tap with a spanner literally dropping it onto the sensor bolt should give the desired effect. I used to tap it with the handle of a screw driver but the sound it made wasn't in the bandwidth of the sensor. A crisp metallic 'ting' should get a full red.
