I've got the same turbo timer, reads in kg/cm2
I also have a boost gauge, just to check I did a quick run this evening, cleared the peak on the turbo timer, accelerated hard in 4th to red line, was showing 17psi held on the boost gauge, peak on the turbo timer 1.23

Unhappy

ok then

0.87 cm hg (peak boost from today) x 10 = 8.7 mm hg

8.7 mm hg = 0.011999013 bar or 0.17403098 PSI

Chris,

check the measurements on your timer again.
In vacuum it measures in hg, in boost mine reads in kg/cm2

kg/cm2 to bar x .9804
bar to psi x 14.508

0.87 x .9804 = 0.852948
0.852948 x 14.508 = 12.37 psi which is about right.

Question

hi lads can someone please explain the vacum (off boost ) readings to me? I have the Subaru gauge, vacum in cm-hg, boost in kg-cm2, on light or trailing throttle mine reads 50cmhg, what are the correct readings for off-boost driving, its seems to be boosting fine between .85 -1.0 depending on temps... just like to know what its telling me?

Cheers
