Looks very iffy...

If your vehicle is equipped with electronic fuel injection, it will. 99% of cars manufactured after in or after 1988 are equipped with a fuel injection. It will however not work on turbocharged vehicles
Doesn't work on turbos for a start, also seems like they plucked the 1998 year outta the air cos a MY97 has the same ECU as a MY98. Also 99% of cars since 1992 have had ECU controlled fuel injection cos that's when cats became mandatory hence almost all cars got lambda sensors and fuel injection to run the optimal conditions for the cat.

Its a expensive resistor normally. Is it worth it? NO.

Is this the intake air temp one that's been doing the rounds for ages? If so stay well clear - basically fools the ECU into reading a different air temp by placing a resistor in-line which can never be good IMO.

Don't get paranoid Turbohot, this con is as old as the hills, and my response was based on that fact alone - not who the poster was.

As for the speeding thread, don't forget I'm not the only one who thought you were being a little silly, and as far as being "flamed" goes, I'm hardly going to lose any sleep over those responses...
