Question

Has anyone out there heard of a Fuel-Cat? I have just purchased a 3500cc in-line fuel-cat. The bloke said it would boost the octane in the fuel to 99ron. Apparently it works by the fuel travelling through the cat, going over tin, mercury and lead, thus boosting the octane levels in the fuel. This means (apparently) I can use any unleaded fuel and the correct octane levels can be reached. I would like some feedback about this product if anyone has any, as I need to attach the fuel-cat to my fuel line and I obviously don't want to cut it if the thing is c**p. I have an imported Legacy and have already had engine problems due to fuel so I don't want anything like that to happen again.
