Question

Can anyone help me out?
got knocklink fitted yesterday by local garage and they have connected the red wire from the battery straight to the KL so the green light is showing when the engine is off
is that correct or should it only come on with the engine switched on?
they had not done one before.

can you help me on this one not being a technical sort of guy

Stupid!! None of the application has to connect traight to the battery accept the alarm and devices that need power for the memory.
Disconnect it and connect it with the radio.

Yeah, that's pretty daft. You just want the gauge on with the car's ignition. Best place for a feed is the cigarette lighter wire.

I've got pics from my own install on my website if you need any help.
