If anyone knows could they please tell me. Dropped the STi off this morning for it's PPP and forgot to ask. I just wanted to know what they have to take out to get to it really... that's if they get to it from the inside of course, I don't really know. I was just hoping they won't have to disturb any ice in the car.

Also, I'd be gratefull if anyone could tell me whether or not they have to drain the fuel tank to fit the new pump. Some people have mentioned that they needed to leave the tank fairly empty when they dropped it off for the PPP. My dealer didn't mention this at all, but I left it fairly low anyway... the question really is, will they put the Optimax they took out of the tank back in, or will they fill it up with some other super stuff?

In my MY00 the fuel pump is under a cover underneath the carpet in the boot just behind the drivers side rear passenger seat.

I have fitted quite a few PPP's now.. and as long as the tank ain't FULL then I certainly wouldn't empty any out.. apart from the during the Final Test Drive

Saying that a few weeks ago I had to do a service on a Legacy.. Go to change the fuel filter and its in the tank..
Guess what, The tank was FULL TO THE BRIM!!!!!!!!!!!! MOTHERS!!!!
