I had to make a few emergency stops lately from 170/180 km/h and every time the car violently pulls to the left so guess left side brakes work better than the right side.

It's a '96 WRX with upgraded front brakes i.e. bigger discs and 4 calliper pots, braided brake hoses on all 4 wheels and fresh brake fluid dot 4.

Car has done 130,000 km and wheels barings have never been changed and are 'humming' a bit , could this contribute to the problem?

Any ideas? Hope you guys can help as this is getting dangerous.

This is a classic symptom of the front left wheel bearing failing.
