HI can any one tell me what version STI is the my99, as im looking for an tmic for up to version 6 or off a p1 ,thanks mark

MY99 would be STi5 I think, MY00 is STi6.

Doubt there's much difference between the two though engine wise, both are phase2 with the dump valve bolted directly to the I/C.

i run a 94 sti version 1 found a guy who has modified all tmic up to a version 6 sti, and the p1 ,so they fit the early cars, as getting a deceny intercooler for a good price is hard, ive been offered a my99 sti tmic but i need to know the version sti it is if its a my99, thanks mark

AFAIK MY'99 is V5.
Why not take a digi photo of it, and mail it him?

ok thanks, well they will be modded, to fit the earlier, sti,s so not sure about hoses, think my original samco's will do the job, i will mail you if i need any ,thanks, mark

The P1 is based around a version 5 sti..... so you may as well get the version 5 you've been offered if you want a P1 one .

Try Grade A Subaru, I just purchased a 2nd hand STi TMIC from them to fit on MY96. Cost £100+vat etc. www.gradea-subaru.co.uk
