need some advice please

hi guys
just sold my last car and have been after a scooby for ages.
ive got about £9000 to spend on one but dont have much of a clue what to get..what is the dif..between wrx sti ra? what is the best one to get?
also what to look out for when buying. and are these cars reliable?

Your best bet would be to look for an STI but not an RA!!! The gearing is sooooo short in these cars that even at 70mph you are running at 4K+ on the Revs.

Go to halfords (deep intake of breath!) and buy a book called you aond your subaru impreza turbo. Best £20 you will ever spend! Tells you everything you need to know and then some!!!
