Hi All,
Can anyone help with a little problem i seem to have, i have just got my 93wrx wagon and the fuel guage does not seem to work, i have only put in about 10 litres of fuel as the car isnt registered yet i have to fetch it can at a time.

Shouldnt that be enough to give at least a slight reading but it stays on E and doesnt move a mm. If so can anyone advise where to start ?

Cheers

Hi mate - be warned the fuel gauge on mY93 WRX has a mind all of its own. I assume you are aware that the needle sits at what ever level the fuel is after the ignition is turned off. Have you started the car and taken it for a short drive. My gauge can be reading below the E and yet when I go to fel her up I can only get about 36/37 litres in the tank and bearing in mind that its a 50 litre tank ?? then this could be your problem ??

Hope this helps

Cheers for that, il try just filling up more, as its not registered yet its a bit of a pain fetching a can at a time. I assume the fuel guage needs to work for the SVA test ? if not im not too bothered as i very rarely let my current car get below 1/4 of a tank il just keep topping up.
