Just fitted a Forge SUB01 DV (recirculating type) to my STi 8. The car seems to perofrm as normal and I get a bit more of a woosh.

What I do get though is a metalic ping between gear changes along with the slight woosh. It sounds like a tunning fork, or a high pitched bell going of.

I have contacted Forge and they say this could be the Air hitting the waste gate.

Has anyone else experienced this sound? Is it right? Or should I change DV's?

 

I would take it off if I were you m8, even if someone did post on here it's ok, it's your car and it's new, I wouldn't mess with a car under warranty.
