Hi

Went to take my plugs out the other day, and neither of my plug tools will reach !!

Any recommendations for a decent plug tool, that will let me get the plugs out

Cheers

You need to use a short extension on the end of your plug socket.

Keep an eye out for a Small Plug Socket that has a hex head at the ratchet end.

Somthing like this....

You can then use a Large Plug socket on that end as your extension or another small plug socket (depends on hex end size). i.e use small plug scoket on plug, then large plug socket on end of small plug socket.

This set-up gives me the exact length and the size of the large socket enable you to remove and fit most of it by hand.

P.S Got mine at Halfords (professional stuff).

P.P.S and very important... REMOVE the rubber bung from the plug socket or the socket will get stuck on the plug, and you will never get it out....
