Hi guys,

Have seached for this to no avail

I have a MY99, is this a normal thing to happen....a friend also has a MY99 that does the same thing???

Has anyone out there got any idea's?

Not got the exact details but it it something to do with the voltage being drained by the starter motor. The alarm beeps to tell you if your battery is running low and it gets set off. I think something can be fixed because I have the same alarm/car and it doesn't do this. Try searching on here I remember reading about this before.

The battery is on its way out.
Mine bleeped for 2 weeks then the car wouldn't start.
Did it a couple of times again over a month, but you could never tell if was going to start or not.
Fitted a new battery and no more bleeps (well for the last 12 months at least )
Try someone elses battery to see if it cures the problem and if it does, invest in a new one quickly - or prepare to be stranded.
