At how many revs does your turbo kick in???

hi all, ive just got hold of my first turbo, and wondered when your turbo should kick in. mine kicks in at just over 3000 revs. is that normal??

depends on what gear and speed. In 3rd leaving a 40 zone, it makes 5 PSI at 2600 RPM and 12 PSI by 3200. (approx, as I'm mostly watching the road
)

First one around 2000rpm, then the other one at 4400rpm

tdo4l,dawes@1kg/cm3,silicon pipes,fully decated aps dp+3in trust exhaust give on my MY00 1bar@2400rpm if its cold.when its 35deg outside i get the same at 2600rpm.
