Sputtering on boost. Fuel Problem?

Dave's (rb5_245) RB5 has a wee problem. When it goes on boost it's acting like it's getting no fuel at all. It was running on Optimax and Octane booster. The car has a HKS filter, and a magnex exhaust. It was running perfectly until tonight. He's just phoned me from inverness to ask me to put this post up. Any ideas?
