Question

I have a 97 STI TYPE R. There seems to be no warning light when the fuel is low or empty. I have seen an owners handbook and there does not seem to one there either.
Is this correct???

Cool

I have an STI 3 Type RA V limited,

It has the older instruments with the cable driven speedo.
I have yet to see a low fuel light on one of these instrument panels, I thought this was a new function on the STI 4 onwards with the revised instrument cluster.

well the dials are arch shape as appossed to the newer circular dials (revs and speed) and does not have a storage space on top of the dash.

The dash is flat apart from the arch of the instrument panels. 2 large ones in the middle( speedo and tacho) and then either side there is fuel and temp.
