Contacted Subaru Dealership this morning to order a MAF sensor. Was told initially i'd have it for friday, half an hour later I get a phone call, Sorry sir, we've contacted our supplier, they've none left, i'll put one on back order for you.

So I think" ok i'll get it for next week, no big deal"

"Sorry sir, there are a further 62 on back order. we don't expect delivery until the second week in JUNE"

so basically, unless I can source one somewhere, I'm funked until the middle of june.

Fantastic...........much appreciated mate, i'll give em a call right now. Can't handle not having the scoob, got to drive around in a wee Renault 5 with 109,000 miles on the clock. The joys of motoring.

Richie, just not my day, called them and they were actually in the process of selling it over the counter when I phoned. They're now waiting for their back order of 4 to come in but don't expect them for a while..............back to the drawing board.

Start ringing the Subaru dealers all over the country. Someone must have one. Don't give up that easy.

Cheers,

George.

Oh I've not given up in the slightest, Phoned 7 already but to no avail. I'm gonna check thu Official Subaru Web Site for a List of all dealers and ring the rest of them tomorrow.

Just going to the pub to drown my frustrations and cheer on CELTIC in the UEFA cup final.

I have two after messing around with a K+N Filter on my last Forester S-Turbo
(sensor is identical to Impreza) bought them in anticipation of needing them
but car is since sold.

Two for two hundred euro which is roughly £143 sterling

Muiry...just buy it of Windy.

Was down speaking to Chris lastnight and was talking aboot yer motor, sounds like you're in for a long wait !
If you can get the sensor of Windy, it's one step closer to finding yer fault matey.
