Question

I am attemping to install a DIY I/C Water Spray Kit in an MY96. I know it's been done before, but can anyone help me source a pressure switch which operates at around 7 psi.

All help appreciated

RS components, just bought myself one from there about £12 operating range 0.8 - 15.5 psi. Go to there site and take a look under pressure switches.

Renault five GTTurbo overboost switch.

Most aftermarket hoses dont cater for them and the GTT boys usually bin then. They are preset at 15psi-ish, but are adjustable.

£5.00 should get one

Go to any local garden centre and ask for the Micro Irrigation section , they sell various nozzels here , you get 6 for £3.79.I bought the 180 degree Micro-jet nozzel it sprays a fine mist through 180 degrees.STI sell their nozzels at about £12. up to you.

Done the same as Mark, buti bought the 'Mister Microjet', very fine mist spray.

As regards the pressure switch i've just fitted one (that i got made up for me) that operates from 6psi - 20psi, and made a little circuit etc so that an LED lights on the dash when the spray works.

This is all wired through the headlight washer's timer relay, so that i don't flood the intercooler
