Is that a long enough subject line!
So, on an MY02, presumably the knock sensor screws into the mount on the right (passenger) side of the rear of the intake manifold (that sticks out?)
If so, I have a slight problem, in that due to the side of my intercooler (APS TMIC) there isnt enough room there to fit the sensor.
In which case, where else can I fit it on an MY02 block?
thanks
Ed

Ed, can you not place it on top of the OEM sensor using a longer bolt - there must be enough rrom in that area. Probably gonna have to remove the TMIC to get to it though.

Best place is as in the pic here, on the block under the intercooler.
You will need a longer bolt.

Spot on - many thanks, shouldn't have any problems with that location. Its a backbreaker removing that APS top mount mind
