What boost to run?

Question

Could someone please tell me what boost to run with a dawes setup, car is a UK MY97, only mods are dawes, k&n panel filter, magnex b/b and forge dv. Got a boost guage and afr to measure, just need to know whats best to run it at

around 1.1 bar does the job well

good idea to get a knocklink though!

Best? For the engine longevity is probably around 0.1. Seriously though, two options IMO:
1- get a knocklink as already suggested and see where you can in safely take it to.
2- get it chipped and remapped to take advantage of your mods and still run nice and safe. That way you'll have a fair amount of certainty things are as they should.

And always run the highest octane fuel you can and perhaps add some octane booster too.
