Dull side lights after front end conversion

Just updated the front of my scooby to the P1 front end but the side lights are dull and $hitty looking compared to the new STi Lights....what can i do to bring them up a bit more...new bulbs? or do i have to change the side lights too.....do they do updated side lenses????

I dont think they upgrade the side ones as they arent any availiable. I think loads of people were asking why they didnt but never found out

There are some threads about this the "Lighting and Other Electrical" forum... I think the answer was to replace with blue tint bulbs or led's...
BTW what did you pay for the conversion??

I got all the bits needed with a trade in for £300...
all new pannels Bonnet, Scoops, new bumper new clear indicators, brand new STi Lights ( jewel looking things )

Standard side light bulbs are 5 watt, found them to be dull and orangey in colour , Halford sell 15 watt bulbs , the heads are slightly bigger but do fit through lens . Have fitted them on mine and lights are a lot brighter and more white in colour . Been fitted on the car for a year with no probs.
