I've got a MY97 Turbo and its completly standard engine wise at the moment. I'm running on optimax and getting between 220-240 miles out of a tank usually better if I'm on the motorway more..

Does this sound about right or is my right foot too heavy??

Sounds like your foot is too light, but on a more serious note that is about right for mixed driving.

Sounds about right mate

I was getting 200 miles from my 50ltr tank (MY95) due to my ECU re-map but have since changed the coils & am getting 250-300 miles Coils breaking down can cause bad fuel consumption. Well they had done 100,000 miles

Unhappy

I get 240 miles on about 42L of Optimax. This is all motorway driving (65mph ish) with little speeding up / slowing down.
Its no fun :-(

managed 110 miles and the guage said it was half full

and that was me "fainting" about mostly but a few good hard blasts with full throttle (couldnt help myself )
sounds about average
mines 97 wrx as well
previous car was a 1.7td vectra so the fuel bill at the momenet comes as a bit of a shock lol
