Linked at last..!
#1
Just picked my car up from Branko and Bob and am absolutely amazed with the transformation!!!
The boost comes on strong from about 2800rpm and it holds 20psi all the way to the 8000 rev limited, the car feels like its got another 100bhp and I can't stop grinning!!
Another satisfied customer from BRD!

Bryan,
I had a few mods done before the mapping!! My engine was a standard STI with a full decat. Scoobysport exhaust.
I had an uprated fuel pump, uprated fuel regulator, 550cc injectors and a K&N induction kit fitted as I wanted more fuel and air for the mapping!
I do think that if you are having the Link you should seriously look at ways of increasing the fuel pressure at the very least!
Speak to Mark at Lateral performance for the various parts!
I bet you can't wait!

Easy Bryan!!
Have you had a recent power test? It'll be interesting to see the out come of a re-map with the stronger internels!!
I've had a little blast round the back roads where I live and the car feels amazing.
What results are you looking for after the link?
Dom.
Also have you got the intercooler water spray, if you have Link can do a module that activates it automatically by boost or rev,s!!

Dom,
At the last RR it was 279bhp (October 02) I was happy with that from a standard 95wrx, I have only gone to town on this because the engine went bang and lost compression on two cylinders. I would be happy with a reliable 360 that runs all day and every day (until i get use to the power again)
with the fmic would I need water spray? I guess it all helps

I had water spray on my old EVO IV which had an unrated FMIC, that made so much difference when running at high boost...I was running 1.5bar for about 6 months and the water spray helped stop detonation! I had it set to automatically come on when I hit 1 bar!
Speak to Branko or Bob and I know they'll recommend it..maybe strip 1 off an EVO as I believe they all had water spray.
Have you had any handling mods. done?

Sounds like you're going to have one very sorted Scoob after the 5th!!
I had a proper blast into work this morning, nice and cold so took it steady for the first 10 miles and then I got onto some very familar roads and really gave it some stick.........my boost gauge was peaking at 23/24psi and holding just over 20psi and full power comes on from about 2700rpm, before the link I was peaking at 13 psi and holding 11 psi and peak power wasn't reached until 3300rpm!
Ha Ha !

Dom/Brain, the better mod instead of water spray is water INJECTION. This will be better and more reliable than pray for controlling det.
Dan
PS. Brian, the tuning bug has started.

It certainly is the possumlink!! I've had it for a few days now and I still Grinning!!!
The car starts from cold on the first turn, it ticks over very smoothly, it has a lot more usuable torque from as low as 2000rpm and when I crashing through the gears on my RA box and the boost is holding 20psi all the way to 8000 revs it is searingly fast!!
I'm off to Power Station on Monday morning to have the Geo. done and also to have the bump steer mod. fitted.........then what next!!!

.... aah - possumlink.
fitted and tuned on my 94 WRX (after standard mods) - at Possum Bourne's garage of course - got the boost from .7 bar (10 psi) to 1.2 bar (18 psi); been running on that for about 20,000kms with no noticeable adverse effect - apart from large smile on face.
