.....as it says, think I may have been getting it, thats why I removed my Turbo XS dump valve, I don't know .

Fully decatted and running a dawes at 15.5psi. back to standard dump valve and not been getting it.

Anyone care to help?

why did you think you were getting it if you don't know?

have you got a boost gauge?, it's a sure way to tell.

What you want to do is find out what boost your car is supposed to run and then relate this to a boost gauge.

What I presume you are talking about is when you floor it in 4th for example and the boost peaks higher in a flash of overboost then settles back to the target or desired boost level. This is visible on a boost gauge as you floor it watch the needle if it swings to a level (1.2bar for example) then goes back to a lower level(1bar for example) as you keep your foot down it's overboosting.
