!!!!!HELP!!!!!!!
#1
Guys,
Need some help please......went out for a drive with the local Grimsby/Lincoln lot today and noticed when I got back that my side lights are staying on even after the everything is switched off.
we did go through a rather deep water splash...so may have something to do with that...water etc etc.
But what to do now ...don't want to disconnect the battery cause that I think change my ECU....IS THAT RIGHT...... or I could take the fuse for the side lights out...but if that is right where the hell are the fuses(sorry bit of a numty when it comes to technical things).
Anyone that can help it would be much appreciated as if I don't do something by the time I get it to a garage tomorrow there will be a flat battery.....
thanks in advance

I take it you have a UK car then?
Look at the button on top of your steering column, its called the parking light button so if you press it should turn your side lights off (a few people have done this so dont worry too much about it )

Ah, the old P switch.
So named cos it is there just to "P" you off.
On the Legacy's it is helpfully labelled "Position" which I think is actually more cryptic than "p".
Took me ages to figure out what it did.
