right, before I go full decat and tek3 I want to make sure I don't blow up my car.

Heard many things on the dangers of detonation and want to make sure nothing bad is happening, but I need a little help / advice.

Obviously I'll want a boost guage, but what other 2 gauges should I get in my 3-gauge pod. Oil temp and pressure seems to be the usual. But what sort of figures would I be looking for? i.e. what's too hot for ragging it like mad? what's too cold? what sort of pressure should I have, and how do I resolve problems if the figures are not what I need to have?

Also, a knock link is obviously a good idea. But what do I do when it says I'm getting det? Remap? new spark plugs?

Finally, what's a lamda link and how will it help me?

EGT can be very useful gauge too (more than the oil temp in my opinion).

firstly, to confirm the assumption :
EGT - exhuast gas temp.

and what sort of temperatures would I be looking for on this then?
I don't want to get a gauge and fit it if I can't make use of what it's telling me...

Thanks
