Question

Hey peebs,

Have any of you fitted an oil catch tank to your Scoob?
If so where did you plumb it in, did you need to T the inlet side ?
Do you have any pix you could email me ?

Thanks in advance

Pete

Pete I just ventilated the crank case not the rocker covers, since the crank case was easier to get at and the dirtiest from oil. Instead of routing the crankcase hose into the inlet just route it to the catch tank then ventilate the other side to atmosphere. I have no oil that has collected in the pipework since despite high boost levels, maybe it was fine mist as the catch tank is empty too! But previously you could mop up oil from the throttle body so something has worked. There was an Andy F thread and some people put some pics in within the last four months IIRC.

There are various other setups using crankcase filters, PCV valves, or no tank at all and just ventilating the hoses Andy F style.
