1994 wrx sti performance
#1
I'm picking up a 1994 wrx sti next saturday (my first), just wondering if anyone new if this was a version 1, 2 or whatever sti and what horsepower the engine was putting out?
Anyone know any web pages stating performance stats etc?

Hi Chieftain
There were two runs of MY 94 STI 1's. 1-100 and 1-200. You will see which yours is by the label by the offside suspension mount under the bonnet.
There is a register of STI 1's and you will see all about that on the thread in the second reply to yours. They are nominally 250ps but most seem to produce appreciably more power than that. Mine is no 197/200-so one of the later ones.
Lovely car-enjoy

Excellent, looks like it's gonna be great fun. I'm not too sure on the extent of mods to it, I'm buying it from a garage. I can almost fit my head up the exhaust though, and it does have a water spray for the inter-cooler and some strange piece of electric trickery mounted to the underside of the steering column, time will tell! It should be a reasonable match for my mates standard evo 6 I hope.
