Question

I'm trying to fit a SPA boost/temp gauge in my 93WRX. I've got the boost gauge sorted I think, but I can't find the elusive allen type bung for cylinder no 3 to fit the temp sensor. I spent half an hour hast night searching around but couldn't find it

Has anyone fitted one of these to an early wrx, or does anyone have any pictures? I have already checked out Chiarks site but this shows a different engine layout of a later car (mine has the angled intercooler)

I'll make sure I get some pics of it when I find the damn thing so others can have an easier life in future.

And yes, I have tried to do a search but no pics anywhere

Have you removed the pipe from the turbo to intercooler, i understand it is easier to see then.

From what i can remember it's pretty much next to the crankcase breather... to the right of it if stood at the front of the car.

You lot are having a laugh!!! I've spent over an hour just trying to get the bloody intercooler off I gave up in the end and tried to put it back together which took me nearly as long

I couldn't even get the inlet manifold bung out for the boost gauge sensor either! I'm booking it into a garage that also builds amateur rally cars so at least if anything gets buggered up it won't be my fault. God I miss the peugeot at times like these
